Hi guys,

i went to open the hood today. i pulled the lever in the footwell as normal and the hood latch was released. by this i mean the little lever in the grill popped out as normal. however when i pulled on the latch it didn't release the hood. now i can't get the hood open.
The front bumper is off and i can get my hands behind the grill, i can feel the latch moving, but it doesn't release the hood, the hood hasn't even popped up a little. Is there anything i can do? is there anyway i can open the hood?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link but it didn't help. I can get to the grill lever and it pulls out fully, it just doesn't release the hood.

Any other ideas?

then remove their weight while tyou hold the latch open.

thanks for the idea, i have tried that but there is no movement in the hood at all.

I have removed the front grill to give me better access, but no go at all.
