Default Bumper Joint

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/17927/dsc00215.t.jpg"></center><p>How tight should the joint between the fender and the bumper be?

My bumper constantly pops of at this location near the wheel well. Is there any way to make this more secure?

Default Likely it isn't seated properly in the upper AND lower clips if it pops out on you. You should be

able to loosen the bumper and properly seat it in the clips.

Default like yippers said, try taking the bumper off and resetting it on the grooves it sits in

you'll have to undo the bolts on the front of the car holding the bumper in place, then take off the wheel liners and slide it around. If you don't know the strange procedure for taking the bumper off there's a tech article about intalling a turbo timer. I tells you how to undo the bumper and take it off. Once you get the bumper off, try putting it back on. It sounds to me like the bumper insn't sitting in the little slots it should be, therefore it is moving around.

Default I had this problem as well...

Most people suggested that I try seating the clips towards the bottom first and then pushing the top ones in to snug it up better. Unfortunately it didn't work so well for me (bumper kept sliding out at the corner). So, I wound up drilling a small hole in the inside lip of the bumper (where it runs along the wheel well liner) close to an already existing hole in the liner itself. I ran a zip tie through both holes and tied the two together to hold the bumper up- it hasn't sagged on me once since. I know... It sounds ghetto, but you can't even see it since it's in the wheel well. If I didn't mention it, I doubt anyone would even notice. And it definitely looks a lot better than having a sagging bumper!!

Hope this helps!
