Default Bumper replacement after fender bender? Options? <S4>

Guys, can anyone tell me if it would be in my best interest to replace my stock A4 bumper with the S4? I was involved in a small fender bender and my bumper is scratched with a small chunk of the pastic (7"x3")taken out of the bumper. So the insurance company told me if the price is the same they could do it. However, he said the S4 grills don't come with the bumper. Would I just be able to get RS4 mesh at Home Depot and use that for grills? Is this situation something that one of you have already done. Any comments? Should I take about $500 and look for a used bumper?

Default LLtek.com has a ton of aftermarket stuff...

...they even sell the mesh grills. An OEM S4 bumper will cost you right around $500.

http://lltek.com</a

Default You don't need the insurance company's permission to buy a part.

You can take the money and buy anything you want. I'd take it, and source out used parts from a reliable source.

For me, I'm sticking with an A4 bumper. I don't want my car stolen, and I don't really care about aesthetics. If you do, or plan on adding an FMIC, go S4.

LLTek is a horrible company to deal with, though.

Default Are they? Never used them. At least you let him know in advance...

...so if he goes that route, buyer beware.

Default I ordered from them once and I recall not being very impressed with their service...

... I don't recall why. It was a while ago.

In addition, the general consensus from them here isn't positive.

P.S. I was up at Joey's this weekend. I totally forgot to let you know. I'm a jerk. But, I'll probably be back up there in a few weeks.

most of their products make the car look worse by not even coming close to the lines of the car.
