Bunk TAP Cone intake conversion for 2.8 12v
This doesn't look quite as nice as the lltek one. But it was half as much, and i'll make the heatsheild myself. Pictures of post-install will be up later tonight.

The heat shield is not the only advantage of the Lltek kit.....
The Lltek kit also has a 4" extension tube bracket that allows you to mount the cone further away from the engine, therefore sucking in less hot air.
The cone also then ends up being mounted directly under the stock intake tube ("snorkel"), which blasts fresh air directly at the cone. Very important.
In addition, the crappy cork gasket on the TAP kit desintegrates. It gets crushed when you tighten the bolts down, and chips away. The gasket on the Lltek kit is much higher quality.
The Lltek costs more, but is a far superior kit. I used to have the TAP kit, and took it out in favor of the Lltek. You get what you pay for =)

they're ok, i guess ....
don't really feel much performance gain, but it sounds nice when you open the throttle a bit ...
