Default Buying an Audi in Germany?

Anyone every heard of traveling over seas to purchase an Audi directly from them? Any websites on this topic?

Audi does not have a European Delivery program so it's going to be a major PITA to do it on your own

Default i bought my A4 in Germany...

didn't pay any taxes or reg nor customs. but i was in the military and they shipped it for free. They have dealers over there that sell specificly to americans. It is an american spec car, nothing diff but the price.

Default My uncle did the same thing. He was serving in the army in Amsterdam...

He bought a brand new BMW 328Ci for much cheaper and had the army pay for shipping and everything else.

Default I'm assuming 3-4k at least. BTW, in today's currency market, I doubt you'll win.

1 Euro is worth 1.1835 cents on the market as we speak, that means 1.20 for you from the bank. 20% difference

Default In Japan you can go to the manufacturer

and pay for the car there and start making payments and when you go back to the states you can pick up your car from the dealership when you get back. It's one of the few good deals about swearing to defend the constitution of the United States.

Default At least 5k. But if you have to ship it and also have to set the car to US requirements so

it'll probably come out to the same amount.
