both my A4 and my E36 vert have naked front bumpers.
both have no provosion for plates anyways. drive both in
SF area all the time - ok so far.
(fingers crossed, wood knocking, etc. etc.)<p>

*18x8.5 MAE monoblocks
*Pirelli 7000s

this is not exactly true.
While working in the Los ANgeles District attorney's office the LAPD would pull people over for not having the front plate (IT IS A LAWFUL STOP) and anything seen after that will be admissible. However if you have a nice car the cops don't give you a problem. I even have a european plate on the front of mine (over 1 year now) and have never had a problem.

Thanx for the opinions & your experience. I have specified NO front plate and will, if stopped, ....
appeal to the officer's highest aesthetic sense. Barring luck with that approach I'll weasel.... ; )

i think it was called georgia schoolhouse graphics, they can make it say anything you want and it looks real, even with the current tax stickers. I had to modify the original plate hardware to make it fit....but I had to fo something to coverup those holes.
