Default Can bad spark plugs cause shruddering?

My car shrudders a bit under low throttle, gone while high throttle, can bad plugs cause this? Also is there a DIY guild for this?

Default you want a diy for plugs?

Step 1: Go to store and purchase a torque wrench that is good down to 22 ft-lbs, a spark plug socket that fits the replacement plugs you bought, and a 6 or 9" 3/8" drive extension.

Gapping? how do I do it, or is it not required?

Default Generally not required.

Most plugs come pre-gapped, and may of the platinum plugs can't (or shouldn't) be tweaked or you'll risk breaking off the tip.

Default Well...Yes sir. Yes they can. My car did the same thing. Change plugs....

be SURE they are torqued down correctly.... otherwise it will still do it. And if for some wierd reason that doesn't work... change the coilpacks.

Default If you're chipped, you will probably need a regap...

For instance, the recommended plug seems to be the NGK BKR6E, which comes at a 0.032 gap. This is perfect for stock 1.8Ts. If you have a chip, you need to measure it out to a 0.028-0.030 gap (buy a tool that measures gap, and tap the plug tip against a counter or something and keep measuring). Otherwise, you might not get optimal performance.

If you're a 2.8, disregard everything I just said because I have no idea =P
