Can I limp my car 15 minutes home with a blinking CEL? (more)

I just started up the car, it's been sitting for a few hours now so the engine's cold. CEL came on immediately, but the idle wasn't rough at all. Car's been running perfectly fine up until now too. I'm assuming it's a misfire, but I always hear everyone say that if you get a blinking CEL, shut off the engine immediately and VAG it. But I have no VAG, lol.
I would also need to drive 15-30 minutes to get a coil pack in the morning, once I found out which cylinder - if that's even what it is.
TIA

see if the missfire moves to a different cylinder. If so, it is more than likely the ICU.
I would not drive unless you could determine the cause of the cel.

I think the combination of me needing new plugs, coil pack 2 probably on its way out, the ridiculously cold weather last night, and having almost no gas in my tank tripped the CEL.
