Default Can I trust Jiffy Lube for coolant flush as long as i watch them do it?

i need to flush the coolant b/c i mixed with other kind. i didnt want to go to dealer b/c they are charging $200, so i was going to buy the fluid and take it to jiffy lube for $70.

i asked them how they do it, and they say they use a machine to flush it.

do you think its okay as long as i cautiously watch them as they do it?

Default If they use a machine (???), that machine (???) is probably already loaded with whatever generic

coolant they use.

What the hell do you need a machine for??

Default but it takes too much time...

you have to flush with water, and then again, wait till rise in temp and then refill back, etc...

should i take it to jiffy? or no?

Default if i know how to do something i do it myself... i enjoy working on the car on weekends and what not

but if you dont want to... ehh, i'd personally take it to an indie mechanic over jiffy...

more then jiffy, less then dealer. and piece of mind

Default 2nd.....

I'd trust a standard garage mechanic that specializes in German cars but an underpaid nineteen year-old wannabe gangsta teenager? No, thanks.....

Nope, go to an independent Audi/VW shop instead...
