Default can oettinger rz's be safely pulled apart?

... by a pro wheel shop of course. looks like standard torx bits. anyone know?

Default Yes, the RZ is 2-piece rim, my friend took off and brought the lip to polish, center to powder.....

coated black.

Default I would imagine so...as long as the shop has dealth with multipiece wheels before.

They probably need to seal the two pieces together...well enough to withstand standard air pressures, with some overhead.

They may need to mark which center fits inside which wheel outer, and the orientation of the center to the wheel outer (depends on how well made the wheels are I suppose).

Since they are made by Ronal, why not give Ronal a call, and see if they can make an inquiry to Germany regarding breakdown and reassembly of this wheel?

nice. he pulled the centers apart himself? what did he torque them down too?

Yes, he did it himself. I am sure you need to use torque wrench to put them back together.
