First there is a rivet that you must cut that holds the existing valence to the rear fender. Also in that same area, there is a small bolt that mounts vertically that you can slide out with needle nose pliers. Do the same for both sides. Then start pulling on one end, 'cause its just snapped in. When you get to the rear of the bumper, there are 3 larger clips that you need to pry off before you can pull off the rest of the valence. Its a piece of cake. Just remember the rivots, the bolts and the clips, and then its all pulling. Its scary at first, so be brave.
