i've opted for standard h&r coilovers but 2.25"/2.0" max drop front and rear does not sound much at all... though some pics i've seen are very low... aim is to get my tires (225/40/18) in line with the guards (ie. zero gap). Pictures with h& coilovers appreciated (standard not ultra-low model)

So your worried about the regular coilovers not being enough of a drop? Here's my thoughts, but everyone will have a different opinion.

I've got the ultra kit and my friend has the regular kit. I don't know any exact numbers of drop inches, but my fronts have about 1" of space between the wheel and fender and my rears are almost perfectly even with the fender(~1/4" gap). This seems just perfect for me, someone told me it is too low, never heard it is too high though.

Okay, as far as the regular kit. My friend has it and his is lower than mine and he still has quite a bit of lowering left. He has 18" wheels too, and I only have the stock 15" wheels. Needless to say, if the amount of lowering that I described isn't enough then the ultra kit has LOTS left, but I'd definately say that the regular kit can probably get you where you want to go unless you like to slam your car for shows and stuff.

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I'll keep a look out though.

let me figure out how to use it... then I'll post pix (should take about 30 minutes)

Default I have neu race and bilsteins-50 mm or about 2 inches of drop all around...

There is almost no wheel gap -mabybe 4 or 5 mm from the top of the tire up to the fender edge. 2.25 would look slammed....also something important to note...I have difficulty going over speedbumps and have already trashed the engine underbelly cover and I am really carefull.. there's only about 3 inches of ground clearance max betweent the front wheels.
