Default Can someone pls. tell me if this missing bolt on engine is normal?

I've got a 2000 1.8TQMS. The pics were taken standing in front of car. The bolt in question is just to the right of the engine. Can you take a peek at your engine for me? Thanks

And if it's supposed to be there, how the heck did it come off???

That's where the Flux Capaciter option would normally bolt onto.

Thx. But seriously... WTF is it for? Why'd they leave it like that? Seems odd for an Audi!
