Then why'd you ask how to install it if they're useless?

Default which alarm system? I'm thinking your best bet is to go through the directions given..

get schematics for the factory one and go from there..

Default How do you figure? A good alarm installed is not useless...let's say it cost $250...

Now, you have your factory alarm which can be easly deactivated by punching a hole near the drivers lock, and the car can be stolen that way, or close to it. Now, say you have an aftermarket alarm installed, most cases it includes a starter kill feature. The alarm goes off..theif pops hood and dissconnects battery and reconnects, alarm will go off again. Say nobody hears it, no matter what he does (Short of removing the drivers bolster and disconnecting the alarm if it's under there) he cannot start that car without breaking the ignition completely out to gain access to the wires. The car will not start if the alarm is engaged. He can try all he wants, it won't crank unless dissarmed. NO way to dissarm without remote. Some even go as far as cutting power to the fuel pump, no way around that unless the theif has some serious time. Most will run once the alarm starts to go off..and once they cannot get it started they will give up. So useless? Not exactly.

Give me a couple of days and I'll email you them.
