Basically they are part of the suspension that keeps the wheel/tire assembly in the proper postion in relationship to the rest of the car. If your familiar with motorcycles the rear swing are is a control arm. The ones on cars are more articulate because the wheels also have to turn. I sent you an E-mail earlier in regards to your squeekig problem.

It has been over a month since i ordered these control arms. I am happy I dont really need them badly. I would have to sell the car or something.
