If you are asking whether or not Audi will give you $hit for being chipped, the answer is increasingly becoming "yes." There has been a recent crackdown on chipped owners. Legally, you cannot be denied warranty service unless Audi can prove that the chip (or mod in question) directly caused the particular failure. There are a few workarounds to this, including buying a spare ECU and the APR EMCS program. In the end, you can always get your car serviced, the bigger question is: What (if anything) is it going to cost?
