Can wiper blades be adjusted to sweep farther over?? My driver's side wiper stops about 2 inches...

from the edge of the windshield. 2001 A4.

Default I believe it can be.
Loosen the nut that holds the wiper arm and adjust it as needed. The downside is that the resting position will be higher too. You may not like that.

Default Dealer told me it can be done but at the risk of...
a tangle between the 2 blades. If the blades tangle, the motor might screw up.

Default Your Dealer is full of it (surprise)...
I performed the mod myself. Works great and it is not even close to tangling up with the other side

Default I agree and even funnier is when I told them about the wind noise...
this mechanic drives the car and reports that the noise is normal and in the work order he puts in like an hour of work. (I think for billing AoA).
