can you replace the oem b5 1.8t clutch with a b5 s4 or even rs4 clutch kit? do they fit the same or

is this the set-up you need for mating an S4 6 speed to the 1.8t block?
I have an S4 trans and want to mount it up to my 1.8t when time allows, but have not figured out the clutch thing yet. any advise?

use a flywheel/clutch setup made for the 1.8t since they are bolted to the engine not to the trans. The input shaft for the trans just goes into the spline on the clutch disk.

Putting a 6 speed S4 trans onto a 1.8t block has been done by many people
and you just use a 1.8T clutch.
BTW I hope you have more then just the 6 speed trans out of the S4 to put that into your A4 1.8t.
