Can you use the stock Bose speakers w/Exceleon

Im getting a Kenwood Exceleon 858 and an Eclipse 4 channel amp but the guy at Bryn Mawr stereo told me that I need component speakers and 2 coaxials in the rear deck. But I want to use my bose speakers does anyone have experiance w/this?

i think they are low ohm speakers...

so there is a good chance you will blow them if you do.
Check with Audio forum Im sure they could tell you

Actually, you stand a greater chance of cooking the amp rather than the speakers...

I also heard that the Bose speakers are low impedance. That in itself may not be a problem. However, funky impedance characteristics throughout the frequency range might be. You might be safe with a bomb-proof amp - one of those that's rated for below 1 ohm loads. Keep in mind that the Bose speakers might have electronic equalization and may sound weird with aftermarket gear.
