Can't find cd changer DIN cable in trunk
1998 A4 2.8Q:
Can't find the DIN cable for a cd changer in the trunk! When I pulled back the fabric on the left side wall of the trunk, I found a bundle of cables which included the 25 pin DB style cellular connector, but nothing more. Sorry, can't take pics.
Help!

Re: unbolt the 5-6 bolts holding the cd changer tray, trust me...
Precisely where is the tray? I seriously don't see anything that resesmbles a place to put the changer in. Is it behind that small foam block where the cables go thru, above the wheel? Thanks.

i didnt notice you had a 98....
i have a 2001, i think this only works for the 2000 and 2001 a4s. there is a cubby hole on the left side of the trunk where the tools for the spare tire go, thats where the install location is. sorry bout that

um... no...
did you read the FAQ? it looks like you might have to remove the rear deck. try removing it and seeing if you can see the wire there? it took em a long time to find the cable, i felt oit a few times and didnt realize it.
