Default Cant get dipped beam to stay on with high beam

I have just replaced my old 2 piece H4 headlights with 1 piece Valeo halogen projectors (twin H7). I have installed an HID kit into the low beam with a relay so that it draws directly from the battery. My problem is that when i turn on my high beam, my low beam HID's turn off? I think that the problem could be to do with how the normal H4 bulb is powered? Does the low beam element cut off when full beam is turned on, as this seems to be what my wiring harness is providing. Or am i momentarily loosing power to the relay when i switch to full beam? Any ideas?

You'll have to alter your wiring, I believe that an H4 will cut the low beam on High beam
