Can't start my car!!!!!

Car overheated so i changed the timing belt and water pump. test drove it and still overheated to the end of the line. then while idleing outside my garage it just stoped and now won't start. i'm all out of ideas...i don't know why it overheated in the first place and now it still does and i can't get the freakin thing started. what't wrong with the freakin thing? it's a 98 30v any ideas would be apreciated...thanks:

Thermostat sticks!!!!

sounds like your T-stat is not opening up but since you ran your car untill it quit on it's own i hope you didn't mess up the head gasket. before trying to fire up your car check the dipstick for brown oil.

Replace your T-stat ASAP bleed the cooling system and test drive again.
