car is acting up..limp mode, flashing cel, gas gauge (related?)
my car started acting up yesterday...flashing CEL and running on 3 cylinders. It went away while I was driving (solid CEL and all 4 cylinders). I started again this morning and it was back to 3 cylinders. Same story, went away after a while.
Lunch today...car was on 3 cyl and flashing CEL for a much longer period of time.
Also noticed that my gas guage has been acting up...it said 0 miles left while I was in the drivethru, but bounced back up to 65 miles left when I was exiting (I'm sure I have at least 1/4 tank).
Possible Culprits?
Fuel Pump?
ICM?
Float in gas tank?
Related Issue (CEL and gas guage)?
No VAG here but hoping to get it scanned soon.

gonna meet up with a friend after work to scan it. i'll post up the details
hoping it's something easy. ICM would be my guess as this has happened before with similar symptoms.
If so, I guess it's time to change the fuel float as well.

It says low fuel even though I had about 1/4-1/8 of a tank. At some point, the car thought it was completely empty when the gauge went down to zero. Do I just need to replace the fuel float?
Side note, went to the gas station to fill up all the way and haven't had a problem from station to dinner, dinner to home, home to work.
