Car didnt start

Car didnt start
So I was ready to go to work today, got in my car and went to start it, and nothing, it wouldnt start. It sounded like it was trying to turn over, but couldnt. After about a couple attempts I gave up and started calling people to get a ride to work. Then when my friend got to my house, I decided I'd try to start it up one more time, and there was no problem. Started right up, i dont get it. What do u think?

That's happened to me before
Happened after starting the car and then turning it off during the warm up idle. It took me several hours to get it to start. Now i'm aware that it does that but sometimes if I don't let it warm up enough, the next time it starts, it starts a little rough. Might not be your problem, but something to keep in mind.
