Car and Driver says teh new Volvo V50 T5 AWD does the 1/4 in 15.2 @ 93 MPH
and that is teh auto - 6 speed might bring it to the high 14's. Not bad.......I may have to buy one next model year when the 6 speed hits the states .....

hasn't volvo quality been **** for the past few years?
My family owns a 2000 S70 and the car is an absolute POS. It's falling apart everywhere. The old volvos were great...I can't say the same about the new ones.

i disagree
I never thought volvo's had the greatest build quality before ford, now they seem to be better than before. a few friends have had; 850 ( a few), 940, and 240? . Now that s60's and such came out, i think the quality is much better, even if ford does own them.
