Default Car shudders under WOT in 3,4,5 gear...(clutch slipping?)

It only happens only in a while so its not that bad but I suspect that its the clutch slipping. For those who have an upgraded clutch, you know that shudder you get when you don't engage smoothly? That is what I feel, sometimes its pretty bad. Any ideas? BTW, I have a WOA Stage 2+ clutch and have only done a handful of hard launches(haven't done one in months) so I haven't abused it much. Has my clutch gone bad?

Default

sounds more like a flywheel issue to me...if the clutch was slipping the revs would just spike

Default sounds like the clutch to me...how many miles on it?

FYI I also used to have a WOA 2+. Had to replace it after 17K miles. Now have Spec 3 & LW flywheel.

Default clutches can slip in very small increments and not cause RPMs to jump.

My stock clutch lasted 20K miles of stage 3 abuse and when it finally started slipping in 4th and 5th I never saw the tach needle fluctuate. If you flub a launch attempt and COMPLETELY slip the clutch, yeah you'll see the tach shoot to redline while not actually moving.

Default 15-20k, how do you like your current clutch?

If I have to replace mine, I'm looking for one that drives more closely to stock. I do a good amount of street driving so I'm looking for one that is more smooth than the WOA but can handle a solid launch. Thanks for the info

I've seen both happen- what shoe describes, and your problem too...

Default well the Spec 3 with a stock flywheel would suit you quite nicely

I went with the 12-lb aluminum flywheel AND COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!! It feels like the car lost a few hundred pounds in the driveline. Ripping through the gears is just awesome. This is my only car and I drive it daily. Starting from a dead stop takes some relearning but again I can't stress enough I'm very happy with this clutch/flywheel package. Zero chatter/clicking etc. often associated with LW flywheels.
