Default Car sits higher in front then rear

I own a 1997 A4Q, and one of my friends told me that my car sits lower in the rear then the front. I didnt believe him so I measured...Sure enough, the rear was 10 inches of ground, the front was 12. I had a six inch gap on the front from wheel well to tire, and 2-3 inch on rear. My shocks feel fine, I can take corners quick and it seems to handle fine. I took it to a local shop, and they couldnt find anything. I called Audi and the told me to bring it in. Problem is, they are over 100miles away? Anyone run into this problem?

Default measure the height of the wheel wells at their highest point......

should be 27" front and 26.5" rear or there about. measure all four. my car went a little odd at 150K. iirc it was the front struts getting longer.

Default Probably going to be way off that, given he says 6 inches from wheel to well up front and 3 rear..

That is a huge wheel gap though. Front is probably around 28.5-29 if his first info is correct.

Default Is it normal then for the back to be lower then the front.

Most cars are just the opposite

Default Yeah, just for reference, the rear of my first car (non-sport) sat lower by about an inch, swapped

suspension with vogtland bilstein combo and the rear still sat about .75 inches lower.

My current car has Eibach and koni combo and the rear sits about .5 inches lower. (inch or two lower than that if I have 3 others in the car). But a 2 inch difference unloaded isnt normal.

Default yes. i've had two different aftermarket suspensions and all three were lower in the rear.....

the bilstein rear shocks can be adjusted. i went up 10mm to level the car.
