Car starts then dies!!!!

Car starts then dies!!!!
This is what happenend. I put my old steering wheel back on. Connected the battery. Turned to acc. for bout 30sec then start. Once I turn the car on it dies on me! I do not think it has anything to do with the battery or me putting my 4 spoke steering wheel back on? I had the stock 3 spoke and put the old 4 spoke back on. I checked the wires and everything looks good? Thanks 97 A4 1.8tq auto

pull the wires to the battery again, then do a TBA.
TBA= throttle body alignment.
It takes a few moments, just turn the car to the "ON" position and leave it. You will hear some moaning etc, wait till it stops then start the car, and see if that helps out.

How did you fix this ? I have Audi 1.8T QTTR 1995 B5 and gave the same problem , either it starts and stalls few seconds later or either id doesnt start at all it tries to ignite but nothing . I recently changed relay and it also did not help .
