Default CD Changer Broken. What should I do?

My car is less then 3 months old and the CD changer just broke. The radio shows an error message and when I try and eject the CD's, it just makes some noise w/out ejecting the CDs.
What should I do?
Is it covered by a warrentee?

Default Happened to me - my error code was "CD00 ERR"

Just take it to the dealer....they ended up giving me a brand new changer...I had the Alpine unit...if you car is only 3 month old, you would have the panasonic one. Should be no problem getting this resolved under warranty.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
Default take it to the dealer

Same thing happened to me when my cd player fell from the trunk deck. I simply went to the dealer and they replaced it under warranty (despite the fact that I purchased it from Clair)
I also reinstalled the cd player on the driver's side rear corner of the trunk. It fits right into the toolbox compartment vertically.
dan
97 1.8tqm

Default Re: Another question about springs and shocks

i replaced the sport suspension shocks with bilstein sports and both handling and ride improved.
damping is more important than springing!

Default A question...

I also have adjustable Koni's, along with Eibach springs (which lowered my A4 1.4"). My Koni's are presently set on the softest setting, which I feel is too soft. You feel the medium setting is also too soft? What setting do you think you will use?

Default I'll probably go all the way firm...

I know Alan Adamson did and I believe that's how Gary (@Ronal) has his set. Also, I had the dealer do the install, and I'm just assuming that they set them on medium, like I told them to (they may not have).
You're in Denver, right? If you make it to the meeting on 1/17, we can do a comparison test. I'll probably take it down to Revsport in the Springs to have them adjusted in the springtime. I'm sure Dave has worked with the Konis before; I'll probably get TAPed while I'm there, too. 8^)
CraigB

Default Denver area meet?

Yes, I'm in Denver, but I apparently missed out on the Denver area meet info. My cursory check of the archives didn't pull up anything on the upcoming meet on the 17th. So, would you please fill me in. BTW, I've had a guy named Mark Zalmanek do the suspension stuff on my A4. He's good and not too $.
