ok heres the deal, i pushed the button to change CDs in the 6-disc changer and then this code came up on the radio display, "CD00 ERR". i tried to fool around with it while driving, to no avail, so i pulled over to take the cassette out and try to put it back in. however, it wouldnt let me eject the cassette. a light is usually on to signify that there is power, but the light wasnt on. and no the CD was not in upside-down, because i know i listened to the CD before and i havent changed the CDs in a couple of weeks. anyway any help would be great. its a 96 changer, Delta CC.

and it will pop right out. There's a trigger underneath the magazine for that purpose. If you're lucky, the CD is sticking out of the rollers far enough to just pull it out. If not, you might have to take the changer out to get into it.

hey thanks for the help, its working again. I had some guy on automotive forums named "veedubmechanic" telling me i had to get a whole new unit, which makes me wonder what he suggests his customers to do. i hope i never have him changing my oil, he might suggest replacing the whole engine. anyway, thanks.
