Default CD Changer won't play burned discs!!

I have a 99.5 QMS 2.8 with the dealer installed 6 CD changer.
I recently burned a CD on my computer but it won't play in my CD changer. Any ideas on what's the problem?
Is there a specific brand of CD-R to use that will work?
What brand of CD player is in my Audi?

Thanks

Default Did you use a CD-R or CD-RW?

Imation CD-R's work in my Alpine-manufactured Audi 6-disk changer (Delta headunit)...no problems whatsoever.

CD-RW's won't play in most CD players.

Default All the cds in my 6cd changer are burned, and they all work..

I use Verbatim/Sony and burn with a Yamaha 16X using ezcd creator 4 and CDR-WIN.

Default Re: Did you use a CD-R or CD-RW?

I'm using CD-R's in a Yamaha based burner using Toast.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...do the files have to be in WAV format or is AIFF okay?

Me thinks it's the CD's themselves as the disc plays fine on my friend's Sony CDchanger.

I'll also check the FAQ's.
thanks everyone.

Likewise for me...except I use crappy generic 80 min CD-Rs (from Outpost.com) using a Ricoh 7080A (8x IDE burner) under Linux (using cdrecord/cdparanoia, and mpg123 to do the decompression, and gtoaster as my ui)
