Are you talking about head unit to CD changer interoperability?

Default It was a kenwood,,but dude said we would need to bypass the audi amp,,,

The kenwood has a single cd player on the head unit.

Default How about explaining to us from beginning to end what you're trying to do...

Are you trying to replace the OEM head unit with an aftermarket one and are worried about the Bose amp?

I am lost, and I think others are too.

Default Advice: don't always take the "dude's" recommendation as gospel.

He could be right. Then again, there are plenty of incapable stereo installers out there who may not be familiar with the Audi system. Ask around at other shops, ask around on-line (Audio forum!), and when all else fails--SEARCH the archives. :-)
