Center Brake Light Audi Symbol

I got a Audi symbol for center brake light a while ago and I am trying to install now. I detached the brake light connection, popped out the side cover unit on top, and pulled out the 4 bulbs. However, I am still unable to get the red cover lens off to put on the stickers. Anyone with any suggestions to get the red cover lens off without breaking it?

WOW!! I did this mod on my '97 and I just put the stick on the outside of the lens. Looks great and really shines in the night time. Where did you get your's from or rather whom? If it's Christian Long then that's the same person I got mine from, but like I said from the way I understood the directions you just put the stick over top of the red lens cover. No disassembly required.<p>'97 A4 2.8 QM Pearl White/Ecru Leather

Christian J. Long has the stickers. All you do is send him a $3.95 check and another envelope and he'll send you the sticker. Not sure of the address though check the archives on it.<p>'97 A4 2.8 QM Pearl White/Ecru Leather

OK guys, you can put it on by just removing the 3rd brake light shroud, but I prefer to remove the rear deck to install them to insure that it is on straight.
Here's my address if you want one:
Christian J. Long
5311 Birchbend Loop
Oviedo, FL 32765-6167
The price is actually only $3.50, and include a self addressed full size envelope, but don't worry about postage, that's included.
Here;s an FAQ I wrote on how to remove the rear deck:
Removing the Rear Deck
All Years
If your A4 has the child safety seat anchors in the rear deck, you will have to remove those anchors first. Use a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the 3 plastic caps off of the anchors, and that will reveal the metal hooks and the 13mm bolts that hold the anchors to the car’s chassis through the rear deck.
Next, disconnect the CHMSL (3rd brake light) wires, the plug can be found underneath the CHMSL inside the trunk.
The front lip of the rear deck is held in place by 3 plastic snap fittings. Pull up on the front of the rear deck and the snap fittings will pop loose. Now the rear deck is free to pull out by sliding it forward out of the rear window area.
There are 3 hooks that hold the rear portion of the rear deck to the chassis, and they pose no problem when removing the rear deck. Once the 3 snap fittings are free, just slide the rear deck forward 1-inch and that will clear the 3 hooks. It is important to make sure these are aligned properly when snapping the rear deck back in place.
NOTE: the A4 speakers are mounted to the chassis underneath the rear deck, not the rear deck itself. If you are looking to access the rear speakers, the rear deck must be removed.<p>Christian J. Long

I did get it from Christian Long.
How did you make sure the sticker goes on straight? The little pieces in the middle is detached, so I am afraid it is going to come out crooked. There's not much room for my hands to get in to put on the sticker.<p>Pearl White 1998 A4 Quattro Sports 5spd
