Changing brake pads... what's this about the master cylinder overflowing? (more)...

Where is the master cylinder? How should I remove fluid? FAQ says turkey baster? Is the fluid OK to put down the drain? I can put in in my used oil container if not. TIA.

As long as the master cylinder isn't topped off above max, when you push the piston back, you shouldn't overflow the reservoir. If you do, simply siphon some out. It shouldn't be more than a few ounces.
