Default Changing to Mintex red box requires new rotors?!

Just put in a call to an Audi tuner. I'm getting sick of cleaning off so much brake dust so I'm thinking of going mintex red box. Anyhoo, I'm being told that I need to put new rotors on if I put on new pads. Does that sound right?

It probably would be a good idea to have your rotors turned if they have any grooves in them, but your new pads will quickly conform to whatever surface you put them to.

How many have tried EBC Green? Does Axxis (now owned by PBR) make Metal Masters for the A4?
