They always cause my car to misfire.
WHen Neuspeed sent htem to me, the gap what Denso said it should be, but I guess that's too big for my car. I'm not sure on the numbers.
THe car drove fine for about 3 months, then I put in a downpipe, now it's misfiring again.
I'm going to try to gap them at .30 (I think they're at .34-38 right now - not sure). I believe stock is.28, so I may try that before investing in new plugs.

Hey, what a coincidence! Get new plugs...
I just got back from Autozone...and guess which plugs are coming out? Denso Iridiums! Going in (right now) will be 4 regular Denso plugs (3 grounded) for $1.39 each....beats the hell outta $12 each. Stock number at AZ is 5061, part number on the plug is K20PBR-S10.

If this doesn't solve my misfiring problem....then I guess it's back to square one. BTW, I did re-gap the Iridiums to .030" a long time ago, which took care of misfires--until now. So they're back, staying on one cylinder (pretty much rules out a coilpack). Back out to the hot car..

Love the Ti-book. I have an iBook, but it's not as cool as yours! Regapped my DZ Iridiums
at .30 and the car doesn't misfire anymore. I just wonder how long it will last!
I believe they were gapped at .37 from the factory, gave me LOTS of misfiring, then I gapped them at .34. The car drove normal for 3 months, then started misfiring again.
So, this morning I gapped them at .30 and so far so good. We'll see!

I got full mileage out of them at .030". Misfires at anything above .034 after a few k miles. I run
IK22s in my Stage III and as long as the gap is .031 or under I get better mileage from them than I do NGKs or Bosche.

Well, good luck to ya.
I'm at a loss for what started causing my misfiring problems. The last modification was my Borla exhaust, but it was on for 3 months before I started getting the misfires. I'll try out these new Densos and let you know how it goes.
