Are they OEM plugs? If so they are already gapped.

my buddy atold me to get ngkbke7r and gap them to .028"

I wouldnt trust pre-gap, at least confirm.

i thought the 1.8t liked the 6's from NGK?

Default te 6's are fine for a chipped car, the 7's are one range colder and work well on k04 applications
running them on mine...

switched from 6's

cheap too

I got BKR6E gapped at .32 but if you have chipped its supposed to be .28
