Default Changing Tiptronic Fluid - Can't Seem To Find Info

I've searched every way I know how. I find plenty on changing manual trans. fluid, but nothing specifically for the Tiptronic. Since I really don't want to screw up the most expensive part of the car, I figured I would ask.

If it is the same procedure as the manual, just with a ATF fluid, then I'm good. Otherwise, is there any place I can find that info? And I am fully expecting to find it was located right under my nose the whole time.

Default There's specific instructions you must use a VAGCOM Tool too!

Use this link the passat is virtually the same.
You can get OEM fluid for around $10 a quart from World Impex too.

Is the OEM fluid necessary? Or does the Quaker State stuff actually make a good sub?

Valvoline claims the spec for MaxLife and their Mercon V. I think AMSoil might be best.

Default You know in the last 2 weeks I have serviced 3 tip trans easy..

1.5 - 2 hours max. Precedure is on Audipages, for an A8 same difference. However there is no interference with the V6 or the 4. With ambient temps at 80 degrees F it woudl reach 45 degrees C and just about maintain that temp indefinately.

Linky
