check engine light on 1136
can anybody help drove home tonight check eng light came on scan system found 1136 please tell me what it is and most likly cause. check other forums said systen lean, o2 sensor, or MAF and cost if known thanx.

i had that code before (17544 w/ VAG-COM)... i was running lean cuz of a torn vac line
check your hoses and replace if they're brittle/torn. it's much cheaper than getting a new MAF. if that doesn't fix it, then look into alternative solutions.
