The check engine light went on this morning and the engine seemed to want to quit. My car has about 46k. It's the first time its happened, does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? Unfortunately, my warranty is expired so I need a good place to take the car in North Jersey to check it out. Any ideas?

it will allow you access to the error codes stored on your engine computer.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1869299.phtml">see this thread for more info</a></li></ul>

The only time my CEL light went off was when that vac hose in front of the manifold tore.
My friend's went off when her gas cap was not screwed in all the way.
Figured I'd provide my minimal .02 since we both have 2Ks.
