hi guys,

I'm at 151k km's and my CHECK ENGINE light just went on, I know the car hasn't had it's 146k checkup, and it kinda behaves a bit funny... I think that it has a hard time shifting out of 2nd or 3rd gear, not sure which yet... (The light went ON about 20 kms ago) - so I would like any help with this as I am new to Audi... The questions I have is 1. How do I make it go away? 2. Do I have to go to an Audi dealer, or are there codes I can use to determine the problem?

Hmmm ok those tools are good, but is there a way with the key or something to reset those lights? I want to see if it'll come back... I have an aftermarket chip (Neuspeed) and I'm wondering if those VAG devices will be able to read it

Yes the vag tools will still be able to read the fault code.
