check engine light reset

Default check engine light reset
please gelp i bought a 97 a4 ans i took it home to my dad so that he could take a look at it and he removed the engine cover to get a better look at the engine by mistake he puncliped an injector plug i put it back but now im getting a check engine light. if anyone knows how to reset it please help me thanks.

Replace the cable, get a VAG-COM, and tell your dad to leave it alone.
