I just turned 80k miles and now my engine light is on, I have done most of the 80k service interval fixes, but now my light is on, the car is running fine not showing any signes of problems, is there anyway to reset this myself without having to take it in to get cleared, just trying to save some loot.

If it is the "check engine" light (the one with the graphic) then you need to get it done by someone with a diagnostic tool. Check the code of course to find out what the problem is.
If it is the "service reminder" light (no graphic) then you can do it yourself, read your owners manual.

pull out left button in cluster - wait until service is cleared - turn off car - start car = done

if it's your engine light you need an auto scanner to erase the codes and clear your light
I'm from Cal and it's free to borrow one here at auto zone. Hope nothings wrong with your car
