I was out of town on business all week (Mon.-Sat.) so the A4 was driven only on Thurs. by my wife. She started it yesterday to pick me up at the airport and it idled slightly rough she said, & check engine light stayed on. Car runs fine but the light's on & I have to go to NY & Back on Mon. & Tues. (250 miles each way). Based on the archives & my experience w/ other overly sensitive OBD cars I'm inclined to make the trip and maybe call my svc. advisor in the a.m. to see what's up (since I got 2 recall notices, for the brake booster & the tie rods, I need to call anyway to make an appointment).
thoughts on making the trip, or not? (I have to go...)

My manual, and my own experience, detail the check engine light as strictly an OBD2 when not blinking. It'll probably go away in a couple of restarts. If the car is acting weird in any way though I would definitely take it in.
