Default Chicago land a4 potential buyers

Hello all

There was a thread a few days ago talking about Chicago A4 dealers, I said i would post about Schaumburg Audi once I went there. I was there yesterday testing a santorin 1.8T and it was AWESOME! The salesperson was great! very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and VERY easy to deal with. He quoted me 5% over invoice which what I was expecting as well as not asking for a high deposit to order. I think 5% is pretty much what everyone else was paying. He was still very helpful when I told him I wanted to order.

Hope this helps to the others potential buyers in the Chicago Area.

As for service i'll comment at a future time =)

-Ken

Strange. Schaumburg Audi treated me worse than any Audi Dealer I visited in the area. I was very disappointed at the way I was handled at that dealer. I was ready to order not one but two a4's. They spent most of their time ripping other dealers in the area instead of selling their own abilities. They couldn't even come close to matching the price quote by Highland Park. I ended up placing my order at Continental. I was very impressed by the way I was treated at Continental. I also got a price around 5% over invoice. I think Schaumburg didn't take me seriously. I guess I still look young to be buying 2 A4's. But oh well their loss. Ken if you have not placed your order yet and you want to know about other dealers in our area let me know. I will be happy to share what information I gathered. Trust me I've been to all of them! I'm glad you had a good experience, as for me I will never go back to Schaumburg Dealer again. See you on the road. Oh by the way mine will be Santorin Blue also. Great choice in color.

I found a really cool site! Check out http://www.cardealerreports.com

It is an interactive database of car dealerships. You can post and read reviews of dealers. It is great stuff. There are so many screwball dealers out there it hurts. Right now it has Daimler-Chrysler, VW and Audi reviews on it.
-Mike

Default my take on schaumburg, and congrats on finding a happy deal!

I also was treated quite rudely, but that was with the sales manager (can't remember her name) and I was doing the whole thing over the phone (I was out of state for a while), and ended up at the exchange in highland park. I was very happy with them. could have gotten 5% over at schaumburg, but got 7% over and happiness in highland park.

but, each transaction is different. If you are happy and all is going well, then enjoy it! you got a good deal and a great car!
Audrey the Audi

Default I had a terrible experience with Schaumburg Audi like everyone else....

I got mine from McGrath Imports in Glenview. Very nice people. Continental was good but too far and Laurel was terrible as well.

There aren't any reports on any of the Audi dealers in IL. Maybe we should start to fill it out?
