Well, child seat must be in the rear seat, in the middle. We got the Graco travel system. When installed the car seat base directly onto the seat surface, the seat would lean too much backwards, poor kid almost falling out. I had to stick a bunch of towels under the rear edge of the base.<p>Guess you better try anything you want to buy.

The rear seat area is very cramped and the seat is angled severely downwards toward the rear of the car. I would recommend a small rear facing infant car seat that you can move the front passenger seat all the way back into to make it snug. That worked just fine for 6 months. Now I have a bigger child seat that works well, but a few that I tried did not fit. The all in one infant/child seats are large and you dont need all that size for the first six months. If you can afford 2 seats, I'd get separate ones. Definately try them out first to see if they fit.
