CHIP SWAP!!
will a Apr chip from:
"ECu # 8D0 907 558 M - 1996 - 1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T 5 speed"
be compatible with:
ecu # 8D0 907 557 P - this is a 1998.5 A4 1.8T auto
I was wondering if you can i have it reprogramed from apr? has anyone done this? How much is it usually? Tell me your stories!

the chip is the same..yes BUT!!
But people are telling me that the swapping is risky chip might not survive the transplant.. and that the re-program might be expensive..OR that apr will not do the re program at all.. because I bought the chip off of someone else..
Im asking if any one has bought a used Apr chip and installed it into their ecu...did they have problems and how much was it?
