cigarrette plug mechanism won't "flip"
Need the accesory plug for the iPod power, but it won't flip open.
Any way to fix it w/o disassembly of the center console? If not, any tips on disassembly? (Bentley manual on order....do they cover this?)

was the actual cig lighter on it when you closed it?
it might be jam if the cigarette light came out a bit while in there. I got a touareg torch stuck in there one time when I was experimenting if it would reopen, it did a few times. I used a cut up plastic card, like a credit card and slide it thru.
