I have a 97 with sport seats. They're not the leather ones, but they're some sort of fabric. Dont know what it's called. Anyways, I have stains on the seats and I cant find any answers on how to clean them. Anyone here know how?

do you have the same cloth sport seats? What's that material called? What kind of carpet cleaner did you use?

I've tried almost everything. Wurth's upholstery cleaner works OK, but not well. I heard that baby shampoo works well (it was tried on 98 sport seats which are a different fabric so I cannot vouce for this). I think I'm just going to end up getting it professionally cleaned and re-scotchguarded.

If you just try to clean the spots that are stained, I've found that when it dries--you'll now have 'rings' left where the water dried.
So the best thing to do is clean the entire seat. Pick your favorite carpet/uphosterly cleaner....I've not found one that's spectacularly better than the others. Wet the entire seat first (with spray bottle), then apply cleaner with a sponge or very soft bristle brush. Let it dry, then vacuum.
I actually used one of those mini-wet vacs last time. It didn't work as well as I had anticipated, but it was alright. I've got pics of the before/after at home.....I'll post them later if I remember.
