Default Clear Corners... Illigal?

Hey, doesn anyone know if/how illigal clear corners are? Does it depend on the state? If so does anyone know what the law is in Oregon?

Default In CA i know you have to have an amber reflector somewhere around the bumper-

i run clear corners though with no reflector and have never been bothered by cops/

Default I think it isn't illegal to have clear corners, I think the blinkers need to blink amber though.

The new lancers have no orange in the headlamps at all except for the amber bulb that blinks orange.

Default I believe there illegal pretty much anywhere in the U.S., now actually getting in trouble for that

is probably slim to none, just make sure to have bulbs that blink amber inside and you should be fine.

I think front must emit Clear or Amber Light, and rear must emit Red or Amber light, thats for CDN

I thought it was illegal for any US car not to have some sort of amber reflector in the front.

Default You should check with your local DMV...

or equivalent. The United States Dept. of Transportation (DOT) requires that all
automobiles sold in the U.S. be equipped with an amber colored reflector on both front corners
of the vehicle. I'm not sure about the placement, but you've got to have them. Here's
a pic of my car (I know, I'm turning into a pic *****) to illustrate a clear corner w/amber
reflector arrangement.

In CA, your front turn signals CAN blink amber OR white. Whether or not you can do the same
will depend on your state's vehicle code. Your DMV or local highway patrol sub station should
be able to give you more info on the laws in your state. Here's a link to get you started...

http://www.odot.state.or.us/dmv/</a
